Usagi Tsukino

This was my first attempt at product photography. A few years ago, Colourpop launched a limited edition of one of my favorite childhood anime (next to Yu Yu Hakusho). I was so happy I wanted to take more than just Instagram photos. I was new to product photography, so I had to wing it in terms of setup. The coolest part behind the scenes is that this isn’t artificial light.

The sun was at just the right angle as it shone through my bedroom window. No added glare effects, or lens flares. In hindsight, my synchronicities were present even when I wasn’t aware of the term. I took quite a few photos however, I chose the ones that I genuinely liked.
